2. How to win: The 95.7 WZID “Ultimate Kitchen Makeover By The Kitchen and Bath Design Center at Cyr Lumber” will run May 14 through June 2, 2007. Participants can register at Cyr Lumber, Rt. 28 in Windham, NH or at Baron’s Major Brands located on Rt. 28 in Salem, NH or by logging on to www.wzid.com or www.cyrlumber.com. Beginning Monday, May 14th qualifiers will be announced twice a day. If your name is called, you must call back within ten minutes to qualify and instantly win a $50 Hannaford Supermarkets gift card. (5) semi-finalists will be announced on-air on Friday, June 1st and (1) semi-finalist will be drawn at Cyr Lumber on Saturday, June 2nd. All semi-finalists will instantly win the microwave oven from Baron’s Major Brands. One grand prize winner of a $30,000 kitchen makeover on Saturday, June 2 during a live remote broadcast from Cyr Lumber. All semi-finalists must be present at remote broadcast to win. Note: Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the Internet, contests heard on the radio station’s Internet audio stream are slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station, and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when WZID contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “caller number 9 when you hear your name”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.
3. WZID reserves the right to postpone or extend the contest dates.
4. WZID cannot be responsible for a listener’s inability to complete the required entry or call to win whether due to equipment malfunction, timing, transportation, or telephone difficulties. Odds of winning cannot be determined at this time and depends on the number of listeners qualifying in the contest.
5. Who’s Eligible: Must be homeowner to win grand prize. Contest is open to any resident of Southern New Hampshire and the surrounding WZID listening area aged 18 or over, except employees, their families, officers, directors and stockholders of Manchester Radio Group, Inc., its parent companies, any other radio station listed in the Southern New Hampshire Market Definition or any of the affiliates and agencies involved in the production or distribution of materials for this giveaway. One entry per household will be permitted to participate in a contest. The individual/household is permitted to win only one prize every 90 days. WZID reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated.

7. Winners Release: Prize-winner must present identification and sign a release a) permitting reasonable use of name, voice, likeness, and biographical information and b) releasing Manchester Radio Group, Inc., any of the participating sponsors, their officers, directors, stockholders, and employees from any and all claims, liabilities and damages arising directly or indirectly out of award or use of the prize. In accordance with IRS regulations, any winner receiving prize(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year will be furnished a copy of IRS Form 1099 (miscellaneous income). The winner agrees to waive any claim of royalty or right of remuneration for any such promotional use and agrees not to appear on, or on behalf of, any radio or TV station for a period of one (1) year after acceptance of prize.
8. Qualifying prize ($50 Hannaford Supermarkets Gift Card) will be mailed to each winner. Semi-finalists will receive microwaves selected by Barons Major Brands and will be claimed at Cyr Lumber on June 2nd. Grand prize winner must schedule and plan entire remodeling project with Cyr Lumber including demolition and removal of the existing kitchen, installation of new cabinetry and appliances, and all electrical and plumbing services as well. Grand prize winner has the right to choose design, color and styles, but item cannot exceed allowed values or winner will be required to pay the difference. Please allow 8 to 10 weeks for installation to begin. All installation MUST BE COMPLETE no later than December 31, 2007 or prize will be VOID. Structural or other damage caused by mold, termites, asbestos, and any other damage deemed unsuitable and/or hazardous to construction found during demolition may not be included in allotted labor value and could result in additional charges to repair. Cyr Lumber reserves the right to assess damage and delay construction until repairs have been made by either the Cyr Lumber professionals or other arrangement. Winners are required to present a valid article of identification as described above at this time and will be required to claim the prize themselves. No substitute will be allowed to claim prizes, no exceptions. All identification submitted to verify a winner is subject to acceptance by WZID in its sole discretion. Identification, which is counterfeit, illegible, tampered with or otherwise altered, will not be accepted. All prizes are to be claimed within two weeks of date of issue, unless otherwise noted. Any prize not claimed within the allotted time period would remain the sole property of WZID or participating sponsor. The 1-year waiting period to play any other WZID contest is in effect.
9. The person who calls WZID to win/claim any prize and the person redeeming the prize must be one and the same, and will be considered the sole and exclusive winner. Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable and are not redeemable for cash. Winner will be obligated to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and provide their social security/tax identification number before receiving the prizes. Failure to comply with any requirement of these terms and conditions will result in the winning entrant being deemed ineligible for award. All prize-winners are responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes as well as any additional expenses incurred with use of the prize.
10. No purchase is necessary.
11. Where applicable; WZID, affiliates, participating sponsors, their agencies and the like, or any member thereof, makes no claims of merchantability of Prize. See manufacturer(s) for complete warranty and operating instructions as it pertains to Prize.
12. One winner per household, one winner per family for the duration of this contest. The term family shall include spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others.
13. All decisions of WZID concerning this contest or eligibility are final.
14. In the event the winner is subject to, or the subject of, any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner, (e.g. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien and the like), Manchester Radio Group’ delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be entitled to rely in good faith upon any documents presented by the representatives seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Presentation of the prize to such authorized representative or entity shall be deemed as the same as having given the prize directly to the winner. Manchester Radio Group, Inc./Saga Communications, Inc. shall not be liable for any claim by winner for damage incidental thereto.
15. Rules are subject to change without notice. Official contest rules are available weekdays at our Manchester studios during regular business hours and will air on WZID for the duration of the contest. |
